  • 1 8 ounce cream cheese (softened)

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup margarine (melted)
  • 1 can pumpkin puree
  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 cup flour

Directions:

  • 1 15 ounce can of pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice

Directions:

Ingredients:

For the Cookies:
  • 1 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 can pumpkin puree
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 2 cups flour
For the Glaze:
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups confection sugar

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.  In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugars together for the cookie recipe.  Blend in the pumpkin, egg, vanilla.  In a separate bowl, stir flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt.  Mix the flour mixture in with the sugar mixture.  Drop tablespoonfuls 3 inches apart on an un-greased cookie sheet.  Back for 10 to 15 minutes.  Let cool for 1/2 hour before the glaze.

For the glaze, heat the butter and brown sugar over a medium heat in a saucepan until bubbly.  Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.  Beat in the milk.  Blend the confection sugar until the glaze is smooth and spreadable.

When the cookies are cooled, pour the glaze over the tops of them.
